Vintage Cut Swim Brief - Tidal Stripe
Tidal Stripe looks like it already knows the bartender.
Turquoise, deep teal, cream, and olive drift across the suit in loose, uneven lines. The colours feel pulled from a very good 1970s pool deck, while the movement in the stripe keeps the whole thing from feeling too well behaved.
This is the suit for the second drink, the better chair, and the afternoon that quietly cancels the evening plan. Relaxed, a little nostalgic, and in no particular hurry.
The Vintage cut makes sense here. A 4-inch side and a slightly looser fit than the Basic give you fuller coverage while keeping the freedom of a brief. The front is fully lined, the inner drawcord keeps the fit secure, and the quick-dry fabric is chlorine and salt resistant. Made in Hamilton in small batches.
You were staying anyway.
